Calcite Mineral - White Rhombic
Description
Calcite is a common mineral that has a white streak, low hardness, and glassy to pearly luster. These white rhombic samples show beautiful natural crystal shape. Objects viewed through a clear rhombic piece may appear to be doubled. Calcite is easily identified due to its reaction with acids.
An information card with details on the mineral formation, characteristics and uses is included. Typical samples sizes are generally 1-2 inches in length or width but can vary based on availability and natural crystal shape.
