Description
Tourmaline is a hard mineral with a glassy to pearly luster. Commonly black, tourmaline can also be green, brown, red, blue, yellow or pink. Tourmaline is a mineral family, known as the Tourmaline Mineral Group. Tourmaline occurs in igneous rock, does not significantly degrade, and has uses as gemstones and in high-pressure gauges.
